东京奥组委在已经决定东京奥运会、残奥会分别将于2021年7月23日和8月24日开幕。
最近，为了欢迎奥运会期间的国内外游客，东京都在此前决定今年7月至9月3个月期间，免征住宿税。如今奥运会延期1年，东京都决定把这项优惠措施也延长1年。
